Originally, Cam had everything set for a Saturday proposal in one of Charlotte’s most romantic hidden gems. But just days before, the forecast shifted dramatically — a historic ice storm was predicted to hit the area. Rather than risk weather chaos (or slippery walkways), we made a quick pivot and moved the proposal to Friday instead.

And honestly? It couldn’t have been more perfect.

The Setup

Mary thought she was heading to the rose garden straight from work to meet up with her friends — totally unsuspecting and completely relaxed. When she arrived, she was greeted with a sight she never saw coming.

Cam was waiting for her beneath a beautiful greenery arch, surrounded by the natural charm of the McGill Rose Garden. He held a bouquet of roses, perfectly fitting for the setting and for Mary.
