These 12–15 minute sessions are perfect for families, couples, maternity, little ones, and anyone wanting beautiful, updated photos without booking a full session. Each mini includes a gallery of professionally edited, high-resolution images in my bright, timeless, true-to-color style.
What Are Mini Sessions?
Mini sessions are shorter photography sessions offered on select dates and at predetermined locations throughout the year. They're perfect for updating your family photos, documenting a milestone, getting gorgeous Christmas-card photos, or simply capturing the season you're in right now.
I'll guide you through the entire session with a mix of natural prompts and classic portraits, so even though our time together is short, we'll make the most of every minute!

My mini sessions in Charlotte, NC are designed to give you the same bright, timeless, natural photography experience as a full session—just in a shorter, easy-to-book format. I'll guide you throughout the entire session so you can relax, have fun with your people, and let me take care of the rest!
You'll receive a beautiful gallery filled with a mix of classic portraits and candid moments that feel like you.
Booking Your Mini Session
Booking is easy! Simply choose the Charlotte mini session you love, select an available time, and complete your booking online.
Your session is officially reserved once your agreement is signed and your $250 session fee is paid in full.
Mini-session payments are non-refundable due to the limited number of available appointments, but your booking may be transferred to another person if you're unable to attend.
I'll stay in touch leading up to your session with everything you need to know, including location details and tips to help you arrive completely photo-ready.
Preparing for Your Session
Mini sessions are booked back-to-back, so please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early. Give yourself enough time to park, get little ones settled, make any last-minute hair or outfit adjustments, and be ready to begin at your scheduled time.
Your scheduled time is when we start photographing, not your arrival time. If you arrive late, we'll still have fun and capture as much as we can, but your session will need to end at its originally scheduled time so I'm ready for the next family.
For outdoor fall and Christmas mini sessions, I'll keep an eye on the forecast and communicate with you if weather could impact our plans. Cloudy or chilly weather doesn't necessarily mean we need to reschedule!
What to Expect During Your Mini Session
Most of my 2026 Charlotte mini sessions are 12 minutes, with my Luxe White Christmas Minis offering 15 minutes.
And don't let the short timeframe scare you—I work quickly! We'll move through a variety of combinations and prompts to make the most of every minute.
For families, we'll focus on the whole family together, sweet interactions with the kiddos, and different combinations when time allows. For couples and maternity sessions, I'll guide you through natural movement and prompts that photograph beautifully without feeling overly posed.
I'll always aim for those classic everyone-looking-at-the-camera photos, but some of my favorite images happen in between them—the snuggles, giggles, tiny hands, silly faces, and moments that actually feel like your family.
Please don't stress about getting your kids to “behave” or smile perfectly! 😂 Come ready to love on them, play, and have fun. I'll take care of the rest.
After Your Session
Your session includes a minimum of 10 professionally edited, high-resolution digital images delivered through a private online gallery.
There is no need to narrow your gallery down to five favorites—your included final images are yours to download and enjoy!
You'll also receive personal printing rights, and professional prints and products will be available directly through your online gallery.
Because these are fall and Christmas mini sessions, I know many of you will be using your photos for holiday cards and gifts, so I'll work to get your gallery back to you as quickly as possible.
A Few Tips for the Best Photos
For families: Let the kiddos be themselves! You don't need to spend the car ride telling them they have to smile. 😂 We'll play, snuggle, tickle, and work with whatever mood they bring that day.
For couples + maternity: Don't worry about knowing how to pose. I'll guide you through everything so your photos feel natural, flattering, and connected.
For pets: Some of my Charlotte mini-session locations are pet-friendly and others are not, so please check the details for your specific session before bringing your furry family member. If they're joining us, bring a favorite treat or small toy and keep them leashed when required.
For everyone: Coordinate rather than perfectly match your outfits, arrive early, and come completely photo-ready. Most importantly, don't worry about perfection. The goal is to capture beautiful photographs that still feel like you.
